Interviewer: What makes "Oxyhina" different from all the other songs you've made? Tim Dionela: "Oxyhina" is unique because at the time I wrote it, I had been diagnosed with severe pneumonia. This song actually started as a poem. I wrote it thinking it might be the last piece I would ever create. When I survived, I decided to turn that poem into a song. So, the difference between this song and my others is that "Oxyhina" was meant to be my final release, my swan song. It's my death note, everyone. Interviewer: In "Oxyhina," what is your favorite line and why? Tim Dionela: My favorite line is from the first verse: "Kung ipipinta ko ang pag-ibig sa iyo, ito ay kulay na hindi pa nakikita ng mata mo." This line resonates with me because it captures the essence of painting love in a color that has never been seen before, symbolizing a unique and indescribable feeling.
