Down On The Street

One of the nicest rockers of the past days, The Stooges, amuse us with this rock oeuvre. They tell in a very frank manner that here is a guy who is floating down the street and seeing a nice pretty girl. Next what happens to him is that he sees no wall (to obtain and possess her). Several lines of lyrics more – and we know that he is looking at the object of his affection in the night. And various thoughts are boiling in his head – to take her or not, to set the wall of decency or not. He knows only he startlingly loves her and their faces whiten in the evening’s light – his and hers.
